QWERTY iDEN Motorola i465 Handset

Epson R-D1xG Retro Camera


Epson introduced the R-D1 several years ago. Four years later, Epson refreshed their R-D1 with the R-D1xG that offers a new 2.5 Inch LCD and SDHC card support. However, the R-1DxG offers the same 6MP sensor. Pricing info is still unknown. [Epson]

BeBook 2 Introduced


Dutch company Endless Ideas is proud to announce a new model of the BeBook eReader. The gadget will be shown at the Cebit Consumer Electronics fair in Hannover in March 2009. This e-book reader features WIFI and/or 3G connectivity, touchscreen navigation, wireless RSS support, and support for content from multiple formats/providers. [BeBook]

ASUS P835 Smartphone Launched


Asus has rolled out its latest Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone, the P835. The phone is equipped with a 3.5-inch WVGA (800×480) touchscreen display, a 528MHz Qualcomm 7201A processor, a 5 megapixel AutoFocus camera, 4GB of internal storage, a microSDHC card slot, a Blackberry-like trackball, a pre-loaded Opera Mobile for web surfing, and the company’s new and improved Glide user interface. The handset also comes with 3G networking over 7.2Mbps HSUPA and supports GPS navigation, Bluetooth, as well as WiFi. No word on pricing and availability so far. [Ubergizmo]

Thin-Film Solar Cell Modules


Konarka has successfully developed a range of organic thin-film solar cell modules which are flexible enough to be attached to a bag and used as a power source of an electronic paper. These solar panel modules are exhibited at the 2nd International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo (PV EXPO 2009). The energy conversion efficiency of these super thin solar cells stand at 4% currently within a building.
