120GB Microsoft Zune MP3 player

The 120GB Microsoft Zune MP3 player has expanded the usefulness of its Wi-Fi and social music-discovery features, added support for games and audiobooks, and maintained enviable features, such as a 3.2-inch glass LCD, friendly interface, exceptional navigation control, audio- and video-podcast support, superlative FM radio, wireless syncing, good audio quality, and a built-in composite-video output.

Nokia N96 Cell Phone

The Nokia N96 caused quite a commotion when it first debuted at GSMA 2008 in February, but as with most of Nokia's high-end phones, it took a little while for the smartphone to make its way to the United States. Consequently, new products have come out and stolen its thunder, including one from the Nokia family, the Nokia N97. Still, the N96 is an impressive all-in-one device that deserves some recognition, most notably for the whopping 16GB of storage it offers. It also features advanced multimedia capabilities and comes close to being a replacement for your MP3 player or portable video player. The N96 has a business side, too, with its productivity suite and various wireless connections. That said, aside from the additional flash memory and some tweaks to the design, it's very much like its predecessor, the Nokia N95, and doesn't necessarily warrant an upgrade, especially at its unlocked price of $776. And with the announcement of the Nokia N97, we have a feeling potential N96 buyers might hold off to see what the newest N series device has to offer. Don't get us wrong, the Nokia N96 is a powerful smartphone that blends work and play well, but at this point, the N96 feels more like an afterthought than a potential purchase.

Before shopping for speakers, try to imagine where you're going to put them in your room. Speakers can be placed on floor stands, hung on wall brackets, or placed on furniture. Subwoofers typically sound best in room corners or near the left- or right-front speakers.

The front three--left, center, and right--speakers usually sound best when positioned with their tweeters elevated to the same height as a seated listener's ears. In any case, try to keep the center speaker near the same height as the left and right speakers.

You can place speakers on shelves or on/in a low cabinet or entertainment center. Some speakers are better suited to this arrangement than others. "Acoustic suspension" sealed satellites are the most appropriate. Next best are ported speakers--as long as the ports are located on the front of the cabinet. However, speakers with rear-mounted ports won't perform at their peak when placed inside a piece of furniture.

As for the rear-channel surround speakers, they usually sound best when positioned three or more feet higher than the front speakers. However, high-fidelity DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD music will sound best when surround speakers are placed at the same height (ear level) as the front speakers.

Samsung CLP-315 Laser Printer

The "World's Smallest Color Laser Printer" as Samsung likes to call it is a compact and stylish little thing. It uses NO NOIS technology makes it quiet as well. Averaging 4 ppm color and 17 ppm coverage is impressive especially when graphics come out at 2,400 x 600 effective dpi. It comes with starter cartridges which yield 1,000 pages K and 700 pages CYM cartridges, it's more than sufficient for the home user. With occasional sales at large office supply stores pricing this at 129.99 with free shipping, color laser printing is finally within reach of the home user. Samsung has a good reputation in the printer line and is becoming an economical competitor to the pricier HPs.

Sony 80GB PlayStation

Sony 80GB PlayStation is an awesome media center allowing you to have all your entertainment on one device and sharing it easily with your other wireless devices. In comparison to the xbox 360 which is running on outdated technology (DVD) and runs games using 100% of its processing power the PS3 can run the same games without even using 50% of its processing power and supports the latest HD technology. It can very easily be called the best blu-ray player on the market right now but you pay a premium to have the best of the best. The same game will cost you up to half as much to buy for the Xbox 360 instead of the PS3, so every time you go out to buy a PS3 game you pay $60 instead of $25-$30 that you would for xbox 360 just because its on Blu-Ray. The games wont have any noticeable difference either from Xbox 360 to PS3 unless their PS3 exclusives because video game makers will make the games so their able to run on the least powerful consle (Xbox 360) then just portal it over to other consoles. Thats why PS3 shines with its exclussive titles like Metal Gear Solid 4, Valkyria Chronicles, and God of War III. The problem is that it just doesnt have enough exclusive titles yet, most of the games that are available for PS3 are also available on Xbox 360 for up to half price. The bundles that are offered for PS3 are also more expensive then the Xbox 360 and Wii bundles which doesnt help PS3 sales. Overall though I would recommend this product to anyone out there just wait until the price drops to around $300 for the 80gb bundle since they dont even offer you a bundled game for $400 right now.
