ViewSonic To Launch Netbooks In China


ViewSonic is preparing to launch its range of netbooks and notebooks in China real soon. The company has showed off their latest netbook called VieBook during this year CES, but it’s not clear if the company plans to sell the same VieBook in China. However, here we have the specs for you. The VieBook is packed with a 10.2-inch display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP camera, a 4-in-1 card reader, and runs Windows XP. Dospara Prime Note Beatribe I


Dospara today announced the new Prime Note Beatribe I. Priced at around €630, the notebook provides a 1.66GHz Core 2 Duo T5500 CPU, a 2GB of RAM (PC2-5300), a 250GB of HDD, DVD Super Multi Drive SATA, Wi-Fi BGN with a 12.1 Inch LCD and a WXGA resolution. [Dospara]

Asus Eee PC T91 Convertible Tablet Press Shots Appear


Asus has released some high quality press shots of their upcoming Eee PC T91 Convertible Tablet. As a reminder, the T91 comes equipped with a 8.9-inch touch-screen display, Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, US15W chipset, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 32GB solid state drive, Windows XP Home pre-loaded, an optional internal TV tuner, and a built-in web camera. Buffalo External Enclosure For Eee PC 901 SSD


Buffalo releases a USB enclosure for its line of Eee PC 901 SSDs. Using this enclosure, you can plug in the USB module and copy an image of your internal SSD to the new module before swapping it out. When you are done, you can keep your old 16GB SSD as extra storage by sticking it into the enclosure. These enclosures are priced at 12,700 yen or about $130 each. [PortableMonkey]

Lenovo Pocket Yoga Netbook


Lenovo has released official images of their upcoming Pocket Yoga Netbook, which is very similar in size and design to the expensive Sony VAIO P. The netbook features an ultra-wide touchscreen display, a leather exterior and a convertible design that would let the display flip backwards to use it as a very small tablet. If you need a rugged tablet PC, then check out the latest tablet PC from Motion. The spanking new Brand J3400 comes equipped with dual battery compartments and an outdoor-visible LCD. UK computer manufacturer, Zoostorm, has introduced to the market their latest netbook called Freedom. This mini-laptop is equipped with a 8.9-inch WSVGA LED backlit LCD display, Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, Intel 945 GSE chipset, Windows XP Home Edition, 512MB of RAM, 8GB flash memory, built-in webcam, microphone, 2 in 1 memory card reader, 2 x PCI Express Mini card, 4 cell battery, 10/100 Ethernet port and WiFi connectivity. Panasonic 54Z1 Plasma Unveiled


Panasonic’s super slim 54Z1 plasma TV has been unveiled. What makes this thin plasma TV special is that its wireless HD receiver box that comes along with it. The plasma also comes with a remote which is an RF unit that is capable of non-line-of-sight channel changing. There is no further info about the pricing of this plasma TV. LG Arena Released in Europe


LG Korea has decided to launch the Arena mobile phone in Europe and 30 other countries. As a reminder, the mobile phone offers a 3 inch touch screen display (WVGA) and supports HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5MP shooter, 8GB of internal memory, GPS, and a 3D User Interface.
