Kohjinsha is known for its UMPC / convertible tablet series. The company has teamed up with toy maker Bandai to create a Gachapin and Mukku netbook for kids. The netbook is powered by a 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU with 160GB HDD, 8.9-inch display (1,024 x 600 resolution), WiFi, a 3-in-1 card reader, a 1.3MP webcam and 1GB of RAM. Sadly, it is priced at a hefty ¥79,800 or around $866. [Engadget]
