Microsoft Sweden partner blog has recently reported that Microsoft is going to launch the final version of its next operating system named Windows 7 in the third quarter of 2009. However, a beta version of Windows 7 operating system would hit the market soon and there would no second beta for the upcoming version of Microsoft operation system. Speculations going around suggest that Windows 7 will be released in October 2009, but an official release date is yet to be disclosed by Microsoft.
Windows 7 would be the successor of Windows Vista operating system which was officially released on January 30, 2007 and Microsoft has always been saying that the next operating system would hit the market three years after the release of Vista. That means, January 2010 can be the unofficial deadline for the release of Windows 7 operating system. However, there is a strong possibility of Microsoft releasing the final version of Windows 7 operating system in 2009.
