Samsung has decided to launch the F2EG HDD series in Korea. Available in 500GB, 1TB or 1.5TB, these SATA 7200rpm HDDs are eco-friendly thanks to Samsung’s EcoTriangle technology involving eco-friendly materials as well as being less greedy in energy. The company claims that its 500GB model of F2EG HDD series consume 43% less energy than its competitor. [Akihabara]
