Dell has upgraded the ruggedized Latitude line with its new Latitude E6400 XFR. The new XFR shows off a new armoring technology called 'Ballistic Armor', which supposedly can withstand hurricanes and dessert storms. In addition to meeting MIL-STD 810 and IEC specifications, the XFR is capable to withstand 3-foot drops, extreme temperatures, high dust and moisture leves. The system itself offers an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 256MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160m GPU, a 14.1-inch WXGA display with anti-reflective surface, up to 8GB of memory, three USB ports, FireWire connectors, an eSATA port, an ExpressCard slot, a multi-media card reader, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.
