ViewSonic To Launch Netbooks In China


ViewSonic is preparing to launch its range of netbooks and notebooks in China real soon. The company has showed off their latest netbook called VieBook during this year CES, but it’s not clear if the company plans to sell the same VieBook in China. However, here we have the specs for you. The VieBook is packed with a 10.2-inch display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP camera, a 4-in-1 card reader, and runs Windows XP. Buffalo External Enclosure For Eee PC 901 SSD

Japanese manufacturer Amadana has recently rolled out the SAL pocket video recorder that records video in MPEG4 format and capture 3MP picture with its CMOS image sensor. American scientists have managed to develop a mosquito laser beam that can kill flying mosquitos with pinpoint accuracy. The scientists’ actual target was malaria, which is caused by a parasite transmitted when certain mosquitoes bite people. FYI, malaria remains a major global public-health threat, killing about 1 million people per year. Stanton’s T.92 And T.55 Turntables


Stanton has recently released two turntables in the form of the T.92 and T.55 USB. Both of them come with USB and S/PDIF outputs alongside Cakewalk Pyro Audio Creator and Audacity software. Both models also feature an S-Shaped tone arm for lower distortion and reduced record wear, while an integrated DSP with key lock helps the user control tempo without affecting pitch. The T.55 is a belt-drive turntable that comes with a straight tone arm, meanwhile the T.92 offers a high-torque direct drive motor.
