Toshiba Qosmio WXW Released in Japan


Toshiba has decided to launch its Qosmio WXW laptop for the Japanese market. This high-end notebook PC features a powerful nVidia GeForce 9800M GTS with 1GB of VRAM, a 128GB SSD and 160GB of HDD, a 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo T9550 and a DVD Super multi drive. Fujitsu Upgrades Four LifeBook Tablet PCs


Fujitsu has decided to upgrade its LifeBook T5010, T1010, P1630 and T2020 convertible Tablet PCs with AT&T’s BroadbandConnect High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) network support. However, this upgrade adds more $150 to the basic price of these selected Tablet PCs. Fujitsu also confirmed that the LifeBook T5010 Tablet PC and the LifeBook E8420 notebook will receive EVDO connectivity support in the second quarter of 2009. [Fujitsu]

Asus Eee PC 1000HE is Available For Pre-order


You can now pre-order the new Asus Eee PC 1000HE from selected online retailers. Asus claims this netbook to be the first Intel Atom N280-powered netbook in the world. Atom-powered LCD HDTV PC

Here are two new digicams from Nikon from its Coolpix S-series. The Nikon S630 and S620 are 12MP compact digital cameras that feature Nikkor zoom lens, Blink Proof feature, Smile Mode and Blink Warning, Quick Retouch and Subject Tracking AF. India Announces The $10 Laptop … For $20


Here’s a good news for people of India, cause the Indian government will soon release their $10 laptop known as the Sakshat, though the price itself has gone up to $20. Unfortunately, there’s still no published image of the thing, or information about the screen size, RAM or processor, but from what I heard the system will include 2GB of storage, WiFi, Ethernet and 2 watts of power consumption. Sony LocationPorter For 3G Video Streaming


Sony has rolled out the LocationPorter, a realtime video transporter intended to stream footage from a connected camcorder or camera across whatever connection is available, to a second remote LocationPorter device. The device relies on the internet via a LAN or 3G connection. The streamer is able to combine both connections to support up to a 352 x 240 64fps video at 320kbps. A single 3G card can manage a video of the same resolution, at between 5 and 15fps with bitrates from 64 to 160kbps. And when connected to a LAN, the video can be streamed up to 30fps at 1024kbps max. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet. [OhGizmo]
