Philips Announces Net TV


Pretty soon we all can enjoy surfing the net through our TV screens, this is made possible with the new Net TV series from Philips, the 8000 and 9000 series which include built in internet access connections. Using their remote, users are able to browse the net with a number of websites and services tailored and enhanced specifically to view through their TV. These include websites such as YouTube, TomTom, eBay, MeteoGroup, Funspot, MyAlbum and Netlog. The only difference between the two series is: the 8000 series will require a wired connection as for the 9000 series will support Wi-Fi connection. Net TV is due to go live in April. [Pocket-Lint]

Toshiba’s Satellite A350/A355/A355D


Toshiba has announced its new 16 inch display laptops. The Satellite A350, A355, and A355D offer up to 4GB RAM, up to 400GB hard drive, a built-in DVD burner, harman/kardon stereo speakers, an integrated webcam and microphone, 802.11a/g/n WiFi, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, an eSATA/USB combo port, ExpressCard slot, 5-in-1 media card reader and Firewire port. Its display offers 1,366 × 768 pixels resolution with aspect ratio of 16:9. The price starts from $649.99 upwards, depending on the specs. [Toshiba]

Nokia N97 Smartphone - a Laptop in Your Pocket


Nokia has proudly introduced its N97 smartphone during Mobile World Congress 2009. The smartphone comes with a 3.5-inch tilt touch screen and a full QWERTY keypad. There are also a 32GB built-in memory and additional 16GB microSD card. The N97 features GPS, HSDPA, WiFi, stereo Bluetooth, a 5MP camera with dual LED flash, and a USB 2.0 port. Sony Cybershot DSC-T90 and DSC-T900 Digicams


Sony has decided to release its new Sony Cybershot digital cameras in Japan. The Cybershot DSC-T90 and DSC-T900 come with 3 inch and 3.5 inch, respectively. These 12.1MP cameras offer the latest Super HAD CCD, BIONZ image processor and record video in 720p30 at both 6 and 9Mbps. Logitec Offers New 1.5TB External HDD

Samsung TL320 12MP Digital Camera With OLED Display Leaks


Amazon has unveiled Samsung’s upcoming TL320 compact camera on their online listing, though it’s not currently in stock at this stage. But here we have the specs for you, according to the retailer’s pre-order page, the camera will offer 12-megapixels with a 5x Schneider wide angle dual image stabilized zoom, and a 3-inch OLED display.
