Lenovo ThinkPad W700ds Released in Japan


The famous Lenovo ThinkPad W700ds is now available in Japan. This laptop comes with two LCD screens. The pricing for the Asus Eee PC T91 has been unveiled. The netbook tablet is priced at between £360 ($524) and £420 ($610) in the UK. Olympus E-620 DSLR Released in Korea


Olympus Korea today released the Olympus E-620 DSLR camera for the Korean market. This 12.3MP DSLR camera adopts easy-to-use Art Filter function, with a swivel 2.7-inch HyperCrystal LCD and in-body Image Stabilization. In addition, Olympus Korea also announced five new premium digital cameras from its Mju series including Mju9000, Mju7000, Mju5000, Mju1070, and Mju550WP. These digicams feature “Beauty Mode” to enhance the appearance of the human face.


There are also five new digital cameras from Olympus’ FE series including FE-5010, FE-3010, FE-45, FE-35, FE-25, and the high-end Olympus SP-590UZ with 26x optical zoom lens. And finally, two rugged cameras from Mju Tough series including the Mju Tough-8000 and Mju Tough-6000. [AVING]

Microsoft has finally released its SideWinder X8 wireless mouse that comes with BlueTrack technology that produces up to 13,000 frames per second. However, this mouse cannot be used on glass. MSI X-Slim X340 And X600 Slim Laptops


MSI will release two slim netbooks from its X-Slim series in the Chinese market. The X340 and X600 offer a 13.4 inch display and a 15.6 inch display, respectively. There is no further info about the specs of these netbooks. According to rumors, MSI will ship these netbooks with a more powerful Pentium-class chip and Nvidia’s ION platform. HTC Release Touch Diamond in Korea


HTC has decided to launch its Touch Diamond smartphone in South Korea. Samsung ST10 and PL10 Digicams


Samsung releases the new ST10 and PL10 9MP cameras with 3x optical inner zoom. Both cameras also adopt advance Smart Face Recognition that actually identifies people rather than just detecting them. This technology is able to search for pictures of up to 15 faces in a thumbnail-form without looking at each individual photo. The Samsung ST10 and PL10 digicams will be released in March this year. Software: Nokia Magnifier Is Beta For A Good Reason


One of the more recent releases by Nokia’s Beta Labs is the Magnifier application. Designed for Series 60 phones, the app blows up whatever text or object that you’re focusing on, and lets you turn on some nifty features like stabilization, contrast, and negative image (if supported by your phone’s camera, that is). Great idea on paper, not so great in execution. I have a feeling this one will be in beta for awhile.

Sony X1000 OLED Walkman For the UK
