UK Receives Bravia XEL-1 TV

Sony Ultra Compact HDD Camcorder SR Series


Sony today announced their three ultra-compact HDD camcorders DCR-SR47(60GB), DCR-SR67(80GB) and DCR-SR87(80GB) in South Korea. Weighing at just 300grams, the camera offers a 2.7-inch wide touch LCD with a 60x optical zoom lens, voice zoom, Quick Start-Up and editing function ‘eDeco’. The Sony DCR-SR47 is priced at 698,000 Won, while the Sony DCR-SR67 for 748,000 Won, and Sony DCR-SR87 for 798,000 Won. [DailyDigitals]

Samsung S3500 Entry Level Handset


Samsung will soon release its new entry-level slider phone dubbed as the S3500. The phone was recently approved by the FCC, which means AT&T or T-Mobile might consider launching it in the US. The phone will feature a QVGA display with 262K colors, 2MP camera, 35MB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, FM radio, Music player, WAP browser, email, Bluetooth and USB connection. Real-View Corporation recently announced their Real View 360° 3D Scanner as the first real solution for cheap 3D scanning. Ecobee Smart Thermostat Released


The Ecobee Smart Thermostat has been released. The manufacturer claims that one is able to recoup the cost of its $385 price tag within 12 to 18 months of use because the Smart Thermostat is energy efficient device. Panasonic Auto-Eco Light-Control Twin Pa


Panasonic will soon introduce its newest technology in home-use lighting equipment whose brightness is automatically adjusted by a sensor. Known as the ‘Auto-eco Light-control Twin Pa’ this home-use fluorescent lamp will automatically adjusts its light levels in accordance with the luminance in a room. It features a luminance sensor that is able to detects the brightness in an area of 3m diameter directly below the lamp, controlling the light output.
